LABELEXPO EUROPE 2025
Taghleef Industries turns film innovation into art
The company is featuring the reDESIGN Wall, a curated display of the latest success stories in label film development.
At this year’s Labelexpo Europe, Taghleef Industries is making a strategic repositioning that goes beyond materials and specifications. Instead of a traditional showcase, the company is highlighting the powerful convergence of science, sustainability, and design — inviting the industry to explore innovation as an experience.
Enter the reDESIGN Wall: a curated display of the latest success stories in label film development. This area showcases what’s possible when materials are chosen with intent—from bio-based and bio-attributed polymers that reduce dependency on fossil fuels, to solutions incorporating post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. This includes both mechanically and chemically recycled PCR, with the latter produced under the ISCC PLUS certification scheme using a mass balance approach.
Taghleef is also featuring materials designed for enhanced recyclability or circular end-of-life pathways.
New product entries
Taghleef Industries is also unveiling three new film innovations at the show, marking its entry into new market segments. Rather than presenting them in a conventional format, the company is displaying each as a work of art—emphasizing the value of thinking differently when developing next-generation materials.
- The company has launched SHAPE360 TDSW, a new white film for TD shrink sleeve labels, specifically developed for light-sensitive products. It represents a major step forward in both functionality and sustainability.
- An in-mold labeling (IML) film that disrupts what the traditional in-mold labeling has been so far and offers a viable option for the future of this technology, the company says.
- A new decorative film substrate that paves the way for new design approaches and applications in specialty and creative markets is also on display.
According to Ambra Stocco, European Marcom Manager & Label Lead at Taghleef Industries, “The evolving EU regulatory environment is not a limitation—it’s an invitation to innovate more boldly. These films represent not just product advancements, but a new mindset around what labeling and packaging solutions can achieve.”
